Accessibility statement

Our aim

This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA. We treat that as the standard for every site we build, including our own.

What is built in

• A skip link to the main content as the first focusable element on every page.
• Semantic landmarks — header, nav, main and footer — so screen reader users can move by region.
• A single H1 per page and headings in a logical order, never chosen for their size.
• Visible focus outlines on every interactive element, never removed.
• Full keyboard operation, including the mobile menu, which traps focus while open, closes on Escape and returns focus to the button that opened it.
• Form fields with real associated labels, errors announced politely and described by the field they belong to, not colour alone.
• Text alternatives on informative images and empty alternatives on decorative ones.
• Buttons, form fields and navigation controls sized to at least 44 pixels tall, and every control meeting the WCAG 2.2 minimum target size of 24 by 24 pixels.
• Respect for the reduce-motion preference: animation is disabled rather than merely shortened when you have asked your device for less of it.
• Content that stays visible if JavaScript fails, rather than relying on scripts to reveal it.

What we have tested

Automated checks and keyboard testing across the site, plus manual review at mobile, tablet and desktop widths. Colour contrast has been checked against the AA thresholds for body text and interactive elements.

What we have not tested

We have not yet completed a full audit with users of assistive technology, or verified behaviour across every combination of screen reader and browser. Where we have not tested something we would rather say so than claim conformance we cannot evidence.

Known limitations

The client logo marquee on the homepage moves continuously. It stops when you hover it and does not animate at all when reduce motion is enabled, but it has no manual pause control for users who neither hover nor set that preference.
