Terms of service

How we work, what you pay, who owns what, and the things nobody can promise.

Last updated: 9 August 2026

1. These terms

These terms apply to design and development work carried out by Creatives Hub. A project-specific agreement issued before work begins takes precedence over anything on this page where the two differ.

2. Quotes and payment

  • Package prices are published on the pricing page and are fixed for the scope described there.
  • A 50% deposit is payable to book a build slot. The balance is payable when the site goes live.
  • Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun, because the slot has been reserved and the work started.
  • Work outside the agreed scope is quoted in advance. We will not add unrequested work to an invoice.
  • Care plans are billed monthly in advance, starting the month after launch.

3. Your content

You supply the text, images, logo and business information for your site, or ask us to produce them as a paid add-on. You confirm that you own or are licensed to use everything you send us, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

Timescales depend on your content. The build clock starts when your content arrives, not when the deposit is paid.

4. Timescales

We aim to have most sites live within a week of receiving your content, and rush delivery targets 48 hours for an additional 25%. These are targets based on how our builds normally run, not contractual guarantees, and they assume you respond to the preview link reasonably promptly.

5. Revisions

Each package includes the rounds of changes listed on the pricing page. A round means a consolidated set of feedback rather than an open-ended sequence of individual requests. Additional rounds are quoted before they are carried out.

6. Ownership

  • On final payment, the completed website, its content and its domain are yours.
  • If you leave, we will transfer the site and domain to accounts you control. We do not withhold hosting or domains.
  • We retain ownership of the underlying templates, components and tooling used across all our builds, and the right to reuse them.
  • Unless you ask us not to, we may show the finished site in our portfolio.

7. Care plans

Care plans run month to month and either party may cancel with 30 days' notice. Small edits are covered as described on the care plans page. New pages, redesigns and new functionality are separate work and are quoted before being started.

8. What we do not guarantee

We do not guarantee any particular position in Google or any other search engine, any particular volume of traffic, or any particular number of enquiries or sales. Search rankings depend on competition, reputation and factors outside our control, and anyone guaranteeing otherwise is not being straight with you.

Where a package includes a performance guarantee, it refers to the Lighthouse score of the delivered site at the point of handover on a like-for-like test, not to business outcomes.

9. Liability

Our total liability arising from a project is limited to the fees you have paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
